Here for a Reason
Christy believes that God let her survive a murder attempt so that she could share her story with others and empower them to overcome difficult circumstances in their lives and meet their highest potential. She has been a featured speaker at high schools, colleges, jails and domestic violence awareness events across the country. As a woman and a member of the LGBTQ community who rose to fame in a male-dominated sport, she changed the course of women’s boxing and her underdog story is an inspiration to many.
